Coon Rapids Campus Foundation Announces Two New Board Members

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College’s Coon Rapids Campus Foundation recently elected two new members to their board of directors: Andy Schweizer and Pamela Westlund.

Andy Schweizer, a New Brighton resident, is owner and president of Ace Solid Waste. Schweizer graduated from the Fluid Power Technology program at Hennepin Technical College and is currently attending Bethel College for Business Management. He is married to Brenda, and the couple has three children. Schweizer has been or is currently involved in several other organizations including the National Solid Waste Management Association, Anoka Technical College Foundation Board, Coon Rapids YMCA Fundraising Committee, and the City of New Brighton Environmental Quality Control Board.

“My interest in joining the Coon Rapids Campus Foundation is simply to provide some stewardship to the community in which I live and serve,” says Schweizer.

Pamela Westlund , a Ham Lake resident, is CEO of Woodland Development Corp. Westlund graduated from Anoka-Ramsey Community College with an associate in arts degree in Marketing. She is married to Bryon, and the couple has two children: Jesse (29) and Matt (27). Westlund has been or is currently involved in several other organizations including the North Metro Realtors Association and the Anoka Technical College Foundation Board.

“I enjoy being involved in organizations that serve our community,” says Westlund. “The Coon Rapids Campus Foundation assisted me when I attend the college. I would like to return the favor.”
